Well, history repeats itself, doesn’t it? I would venture to say that maybe 2000 years ago the world was a lot more primitive, but in the 21st century we should expect more enlightenment, less hatred, more tolerance, less divisive thoughts but more of the “let live, let me live” philosophy
from the people in all walks of life.
It should not make any difference in any civilized society.
We are paying with human lives because a few fanatics cannot change their minds and won’t change the subject as the great Winston Churchill said.

No Sadettin, with all due respect, I would say that it is not strange.
Apparently, “hearts filled with hate” have been in existence ever since societies developed in every corner of the world.
All the wars we have read about in our history books are the result of men’s intolerance, greed and hatred towards others and unfortunately it still goes on even at this day and age.
In my estimation, the concept of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a pretty good formula to be adhered to. Yet, that is not what we are doing.
Try to skin a cat anyway you want, but tell me as to why we still have this rift in the Arab world for such a long time when the Sunnis kill the Shiites, Shiites kill the Sunnis, including destruction of their mosques? All is this for what ?
Don’t we all think that there is enough 2×2 meters plot for all of us in this world?
I think we do. and definitely, we have more than that …
