Poor kids. I wonder how they feel about being put in a position where they may attack and kill their own people (these are Armenian soldiers, aren’t they?).
Maybe that’s why RK-SS prefer to bring in Karabagh troops – they will not have such thoughts.

nazarian, it is quite racist to suggest that Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh are not “true” Armenians. Your comment demonstrates the unfortunate polarization, embedded in prejudice, that resulted in the violent clashes in Yerevan. And the racism I am talking about is not just against Armenians from Karabakh but against Azeris/Turks (Serje and Robert are “Turks” for many Petrosyan supporters) and Jews (Levon is “Jew” for many Serge and Robert supporters). This is quite unhealthy.

Armenia and Karabagh are separate states with separate armies and have shown to have different allegiances.
I see why my words would be misinterpreted given the current mood. Kocharian and Sargsian have unfortunately given a bad name to Karabaghtsi.

There is not much room for different interpretations of your comment, Nazarian. It is plainly racist.

So why do you think they bring in Karabagh troops for crowd control? I think it’s because they don’t think they can trust the Armenian army but they have a 100% trust in the Karabagh army.
Do you have any other explanation?
