Armenians and the Left
There are many things I would like to do this weekend, but if I had the opportunity to travel I would go to Boston to attend the “Armenians and the Left Symposium.”
Edik Baghdasaryan, editor of www.Hetq.am, Jeffrey Tufenkian, president of Armenian Forests NGO, Halil Berktay, history professor from Istanbul, and many others will most likely generate a fascinating discussion from deforestation to Armenian-Turkish relations.
So those of you have them chance of living in or leaving for Boston, make sure to have a meaningful Saturday.

Thank you Simon for posting this.
I just wanted to let everybody who is planning to attend know that we are encouraging people to attend the earlier panels. Those who’ve been to panels I and II will have priority seating for Panel III on Armeno Turkish relations.
The main lecture hall can only take 200, so all those coming for Panel III only may end up in the overflow room where the session will be projected on a screen.

Armenians and the Left????? What a joke..It’s the ARF in new clothes. This group is a bunch of opportunists who really don’t have a progressive ideological bone in their body!!!
