Message from Hell

Mehmet Demirkol (this professor?) has sent the above map to foreign correspondents in Turkey saying,
Do not try to play with the borders of this country! If you do this then we would also start to play with the borders of our neighbors. Do not force us to use power against you.
The map says the “Armenian problem” will be eliminated by “taking control” of the Armenian Republic. It also calles for the “conquer” of Syria and other territories.
The message was sent on February 7, 2007 to the press and forwarded to an Armenian-Turkish workshop by one of the journalists who got it.

I would like to wait until I see the good (?) Prof.Mehmet Demirkol had the courage, supported with true facts, to answer Prof. Taner Akcam’s editorial, “My Turkishness in Revolt” of Feb.10.07, on this site.
Only then, I would like to add my two cents worth of comments to what he wrote.
Good luck Prof. Demirkol! I hope you can debate him. Oh, by the way, maybe you should first read his book titled,
“A shameful Act” before you take on him.
Good luck again… And have a good day Sir.

Just about everyday since Feb.8, 07, I checked this site to see what kind of comments the professor’s article generated so far. I really wanted to see a more humane person to answer him and shame him for his narrow mindedness and his bad attitude towards his neighbors. I was hoping a true intellect from the media to answer this human volcano which is still spewing so much red-hot magma… Maybe they all decided to ignore him.
Sir, I do not know what you teach, but I am glad you were not one of my professors. Thank God I am older than you.
I do not know if I would show the courage to leave your classroom if this is what you keep teaching in the classroom.
I really feel sorry for your students. This is not what they deserve.
When you were growing up as a child, I am sure you showed your smartness, you probably impressed all your teachers in High School and the people in your neighboorhood thought very highly of you, thinking that one of these days you may even become a professor.
Definitely, you didn’t disappoint them! You sure did your best…
Unfortunately, in the process something went wrong, and a lot of other things didn’t click. Surely you became a professor, but that is not my point. What you did not become was a loving person, a great intellect, a thinker, a true man, a pacifist leader, etc. etc.
We all have so little time on this earth, yet we are so full of hatred towards others!.. Why ?..
Again, let me wish you a good day sir . You sure need it.
